| Community Support
The Clown Alley of London endeavours to support as many eligible community organizations as possible. Our Clowns can be found in many social service agencies, nursing homes, parades and fundraising events.
If you are a representative from a not-for-profit, charitable or volunteer organization and would like a clown(s) to participate in your event, contact us at
info@clownalleyoflondon.com and provide us with the name of your organization, contact person and phone number. Please allow at least 6 weeks prior to the date of your event to ensure time for planning and coordination.
A member of our Clown Alley will telephone the contact person to discuss the details of your event, the criteria for our services, and resources needed.
The CAOL’s participation in community events is based on the availability of clowns for the date of your event. Please note, our clowns are volunteers and cannot assume the costs of providing this community service and an honorarium to cover expenses will be required in most cases. This will be discussed with you in our telephone contact. |

London’s
Clown Alley
Celebrates
5 Years
with
Big Birthday Bash!!! |
The
Clown Alley of London celebrated being 5 years young by
inviting lots of guests to their birthday party. And what
a party it was! There were friends both from within the
clown community as well as friends and family members
who have never worn a red nose! Our guests got an inside
peek at only a tiny portion of life in the Alley and all
the activities in which our clown alley participates through
several colourful and artfully designed posters and our
history and photo binder.
Our guest speaker Eleanor Woods lived up to her reputation
as a very humourous woman. Her contagious sense of humour
came through as she talked about her experiences as a
farmer, wife and mother. Her unique view of the world
embraces the positive, emphasizes the ridiculous, recognizes
the humourous and reminds us that the world couldn't possibly
be so bad.
Due to the generosity of many sponsors (business and individuals)
, many that night were lucky enough to leave with a door
prize tucked under their arm!
A big thank you to everyone who attended and helped us
to celebrate! |
